IT Support and Technology
Computer specifications are always getting higher and there is always some new processor or new type of component
that is available. Our experience is that expense can be optimised by making some fairly simple choices between
performance, functionality, and security. Here are just a few examples (there are many more):
- A fingerprint reader will enhance security but will cost more to configure and test.
- 32 bit operating systems will only support up to 4.0 GB of RAM
- A network client does not need a DVD RW
- There is no need for a wireless card in your new printer if you can plug into a router or switch
- Bluetooth is not required to synchronise your mobile device
- High specification graphics is not mandatory for Windows Vista.
PC Repairs - Hardware In Warranty
Any computer equipment is vulnerable to hardware failure and when this happens it is important to have the correct
type of warranty in place. Fast response is the most important aspect of hardware warranty and the higher the cost of
the hardware purchase the longer term the warranty should be.
V-Exterminator Ltd will advise customers as to what type of warranty they should have with the system supplied, we
only work with suppliers who offer a good value warranty.
